On to Hooker, Oklahoma, where they stumble into a wake for the town hero—High Henry, a Clydesdale horse, who shows the town it’s not the package but the heart inside that matters.
At a farmer’s market in Pasadena, Jostlin’ Jack and Angel—a happy if homeless couple, suggest Flo “wear the world like a loose garment.” Angel’s words come back to Flo when the plastic surgeon wants to rework her whole face and make her into something she’s not. Realizing at last the only limitations in life are the ones she puts on herself, Flo opens her heart to the possibilities.

I don't know what drew me to the book, whether it was the quirky title or the lovable couple on the cover that could be anyone's grandparents. "Jesus, Mo and Cheese Puffs" has been one of the best and most fun books I have read in a while, and one that will put a smile to your face throughout the whole story. Characters are warm and wonderful and the story clips along at a delightful pace; this is truly a story that you will connect with and want to share with your friends. I highly recommend this read and I promise you, you won't be disappointed.
An amazing couple goes on a road trip after winning on a lotto scratch ticket. Along the way , they meet and help perfect strangers who turn out to be anything but.
What a delightful story. I enjoyed everything about it. The characters are absolutely adorable and very authentic. I'd love to meet them if only they were real!
I found this book to be a very fun and lighthearted read that pulls some heart strings. It takes you on a journey that makes you grin, feel compassion and even question yourself. The book flows well and the author's writing style is very descriptive and uplifting. Actually, I couldn't put it down!
A warm-hearted and endearing story of Flo and Mo (don't forget Jesus and the cheese puffs, Flo's vice).
Quirky and fun, this is an enjoyable read for all ages.
I do feel however that a better and more professional looking cover would go a long way to garnering more of an interest in reading this book.
This is a light hearted romp by a very ordinary, unassuming couple who take a trip to fulfill a dream. Their experiences and people they meet on the journey change their perception of life and they return, happier and more complete people than even they expected. This story contains an underlying message that we can all learn from. I am glad I read it.

Such a refreshing story about a couple named Flo and Mo who win the lottery and decide to drive to California to see a doctor to fix Flo' s eye. Along the way they meet many interesting people who they meet and they assist or give them information to help them make decisions. As always Flo always has No, Jesus and cheese puffs with her!
